appearing or otherwise contained in this Website (MET-ART.com) were over the age of eighteen (18)

of such. MET-Art hereby certifies that this website, and all graphic
images associated therewith, is EXEMPT from both the recordkeeping and
labeling requirements of 18 U.S.C. § 2257, because no images of "actual
sexually explicit conduct" are contained within. All images were
recorded prior to the effective date of the amendments to 18 U.S.C. §
2257, pursuant to HR 4472. All photographers / producers are required
to submit proper documents of the model, stating that her age is over
18, when submitting photos, and movies to MET-ART.

am criminal defense attorney emphasizing First Amendment defense. I am
an expert witness on behalf of the Free Speech Coalition in its
challenge to 18 USC 2257 and have testified as an expert in Federal
Court on 2257 in matters unrelated to a 2257 challenge. In addition, in
my private practice, I have advised scores of clients on the
application of 2257 to their businesses and developed compliance
models. I am the Chair of the Board of the FSC, and along with Reed Lee
(a distinguished Chicago First Amendment Attorney) manage the 2257
litigation legal team. Also, as long as I am credentialing myself, I am
also the former President of the First Amendment Lawyers Association,
currently, Chairman Emeritus. MET-Art is full and complete compliance
with 18 U.S.C. 2257. That is, we maintain all records establishing that
all models are 18 years old or older. However, because 18 U.S.C. 2257
on its terms is limited to images containing actual sexually explicit
conduct, and MET-Art does not depict actually sexually explicit
conduct, MET-Art is exempt from any obligation under 2257. However, I
emphasize that we do maintain proof adequate under 2257 that all models
are eighteen years of age or older at the time of the recording of the
images.
